Description:
Nescien the Hermit is the holiest & wisest man in King Arthur's Camelot. He counseled Sir Gawain & Sir Ector in his remote mountain hermitage concerning a strange dream that both knights had shared.
He is seen here gazing across the land lost in thought as he takes a break from his writings.
Nacien is one in my series of "Camelot Legends" images. It is done in mixed media consisting of Dr Martin's Dyes and Berol color pencils.

This picture is great! It reminds me of artwork I've seen in Tarot decks, and he looks like the kind of person who'd use one. As an old Magic the Gathering player, I recognized the 'M in the square' signature, too, I love your work so much! You drew some of my favorite cards!
